Most
image editing, photo doctoring, and picture manipulation firms
charge you an arm and a leg to do just one
little thing to a photo. If you spent a lot of money on getting
headshots, then realized the picture is not good enough because
of one little fault, instead of throwing it out, send the photo
to
Ferrelux,
where the problem will be corrected at an affordable price, and
be reprinted on photo
quality paper.
If your photo is perfect as is, at your request, only the specifed amount of copies will be made, which will be a superior laser reprint on photo quality paper.
Ferrelux will try to assist you the best it can in retouching your photo. If it is determined that there is absolutely nothing that can be done to correct or enhance the photo, the company will send it back to you, along with your payment.
IMAGE EDITING SERVICES
1.} Contrast Intensity: Lighten or Darken a photo.
2.} Make grainy photos appear smoother.
3.} Get rid of skin blemishes, pimples, freckles, and scars.
4.} Make the photo have a newer, bolder, and more refreshing look to generally make you appear better.
5.} Customize your photo by making your name and other personal data appear on it.
6.} Place a border around the photo, or remove an existing border.
7.} Get rid of red eye.
8.} Make a color photo into black and white, and vice versa.
9.} Change the direction from which you're facing.
10.} Slighty modify the color of your clothing (eg. change a green shirt to red, depending on the photo quality.)
11.} Digitally crop oversized photos to a standard 8.5" by 10" (11") headshot.
12.} Make smaller size photos into a standard 8.5" by 10" (11") headshot (depending on the quality of the original photo.)
13.} Zoom/In: blow up your image on the photo up to 100% (eg. If you look like you are standing too far out there in the picture, it's possible to make you look as if you are closer.)
14.} Zoom/Out: can reduce your overall image up to 100% (eg. If you look to be standing too close, it's possible to make you appear to be standing at a distance.)
15.} Make the whole photo appear in sepia tone or some other overall color (eg. blue, purple, red, green, yellow, or a special blending of these main colors.)
16.} In some rare cases, your skin tone can be slightly altered. (eg. If your skin tone in the photo is really dark due to poor lighting, it's possible to make it appear a shade or two lighter OR if you are caucasian, and the photo makes you appear too pale, due to over lighting, depending on the photo quality, it is possible to correct the lighting and effect a tan.)

Other things can be done to the photo, you only need to specify in writing. Again, if your request cannot be realistically done OR in the process of doctoring your photo, it is determined that what you want is impossible to do, the company will let you know ahead of time to arrange some other request or reimburse you. All photos will be reprinted on GLOSSY OR MATTED paper, you make the choice.
PROCEDURE FOR SENDING YOUR PHOTO
You must first fill out an Order Form, and be sure to sign the agreement (orders will not be processed if you fail to do this.) If you have a special request, please do so in writing (preferably typed) or send an email. Look at the numeric options on the Order Form (the same corresponding numbers 1 to 16) and choose what you want done to the photo. You can choose as many options as you like. Understand that based on what you choose to have done, not all changes may be possible. Most, if not all specifications will be accomodated. The company will let you know in advance. It is wise to provide your email address, a phone number, and a proper mailing address, so you can quickly be contacted, . The finished product of your photos will be made available to you within 1-2 weeks.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO
Mail the headshot directly to Ferrelux, along with the order form and payment (be sure to indicate fragile, do not bend) on the envelope.
